Hey, I'm a Front-end Developer, UX Designer, Speaker as often as I can, and Consultant every now and then.
I craft web applications for a living and for fun, always trying to be involved in nice Open-Source projects and around interesting people who share the same passion as I: the web. I strongly believe that Web Design is about User Experience, to craft a good experience means to provide a feeling of success to your user, therefore I'm more interested in techniques that help me (directly or not) to achieve this goal in all my projects.
And amongst my biggest interests is Responsive Web Design, take a look at my newest project: BrowserFit, hopefully you'll get interested on participating! =)

Design is about Content
It really pisses me off when someone evaluate a design based on aestethics, that’s actually just part of the job. Designing is about solving problems, not shallow aestethic problems, but usability, accesibility, functionality problems. In our case, web design is for making information and/or interaction smoother and clearer.full post

Responsive Web DesignRWD has been one of the hottest topics on web development, not surprisingly more companies have tunned their workflow to enhance the power of their applications with RWD best practices. To make your layout responsive is more than adapt it to different viewport sizes, there’s a concern with user experince that has to reach the foundations of development, otherwise the product may lose its usage.full post

Web Design && stuff
The web is confused. I’ve seen discussions and articles from great people trying to get a job title naming convension, or specifying what would be the role of a Front-end Developer. And I’m really glad great people like Brad Frost and Chris Coyer have done that.full post

Freelance - Efeito Soluções
This project was made together with Visual Desginer (and wonderful wife, BTW) Natalia Lassance and is currently online at www.efeitosolucoes.com.br. Natalia and I were already in delivering-stage of another project, so it wasn’t our first as a team. What made this one very special was the agreement we had on leveling up our workflow sync. After having some setbacks on the previous project that led us to a lot of do-overs and debating hours, we were aiming to boost up our productivity.full post
